We are excited to share with you our dog park based in Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire. We have created a dog park that is safe and secure, which is perfect for exercising your pups, training or simply just enjoying them.

Over 1 Acre

Furfields Dog Park is over an acre in size with weaves and runs, a sandpit, swing ball and a shelter. We have a picnic bench and lots of seating and drinking water is on tap.

Dog training and exercise

Our environment is excellent for puppy training and building confidence whilst they explore their surroundings, letting them free off-lead without worry.

Fun dog Park

We regularly add new enrichment items plus toys and balls, and poop bags are supplied for your convenience, which are attached to the fence around the park.

Our Story

The main reasons for us creating the park are our Boxer dogs Stanley and Olive, they are boisterous and unruly, we have been in training many times. However, their recall isn't great.

I can honestly say that the park has transformed my time with them. It is now stress free.

Furfields Dog Park gives you total freedom for your dogs.

Enjoy the park on your own or invite other fur parents to join you. You have exclusive use of the park during your session.

Furfields Location

Furfields Dog Park is an enclosed 1 acre field situated at the rear of squires’ biker’s café in the very far corner.

We have parking directly outside for 3-4 cars. We have off street parking for several more cars so we can cater for larger events. Owners leave vehicles in the car park at their own risk.

Park Rules

  • Bookings

    We offer sessions of 30 mins or an hour, on the hour and half past during daylight hours. Bookings are made via our website; we require 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation. Please ensure you enter and leave on time.

  • Dogs

    The use of Furfields Dog Park is at the users’ own risk without exception. Please ensure your dog’s vaccinations, flea and wormer treatments are up to date before visiting.

    Use of any of the apparatus is at the owner's risk. You are entirely responsible for your dog’s safety whilst at Furfields Dog Park. Furfields Dog Park is not responsible for any harm or injury caused to you or your dog.

  • Parking

    Owners leave Vehicles in the car park at their own risk.

  • Cleanliness

    Please make sure you pick up after your dogs. There are poop bags supplied attached the the fence around the park and bins provided.

  • Children

    Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years or over. You are responsible for making sure they abide by the rules of the park.

  • Toys & Balls

    Please do not remove anything from the park when you leave.

Terms & Conditions

Upon booking, you agree to the followings T&Cs.

  • Payments & Cancellations

    • If you need to change or cancel your booking. Please contact us as soon as possible.
    • We can only offer refunds with a 24-hour notice period.
    • Unfortunately, any cancellation under 24hours from your booking date and time cannot be refund.

  • Bookings

    • Please be aware that Furfields Dog Park is available to book for 30 minutes or one-hour sessions. On the hour or half past the hour during daylight hours.
    • The park is available on a pre-booking basis only.
    • To use the park your session must be booked in advance.
    • Please do not arrive more than 5 mins before your start time.
    • Please wait in the end caravan pitch if there are vehicles parked directly outside of the park to prevent distress to nervous or reactive dogs.
    • Please allow 5mins at the end of your session to vacate.
    • Please note that if additional sessions are used including overrunning they must be paid for.
    • Please note if you are Late arriving you are unable to extend your session.
    • Please note that accessing the park without a booking will be classed as trespass.

  • Dogs & Kids

    • Dogs must not be left unattended at any time during your session.
    • An adult of over 18 years of age must always be with them.
    • It is the users responsibility to ensure the equipment is suitable for your dog.
    • Please be aware that most dogs using the park are reactive or nervous, please do not let your dogs out of your vehicle until the person before you are safely in theirs.
    • Please pick up after your dog and dispose the bag in the bins provided, Poop bags are attached to the fence around the perimeter of the park for your convenience.
    • Do not let your dog’s dig at the fence, if they create a hole then the park will not be secure.
    • Please do not unleash your dog until they are safely in the park and the gate is closed.
    • Water is supplied on tap, including small dog bowls. Please allow them to rehydrate regularly.v
    • Children are welcome but must always be supervised by an adult. You are responsible for making sure they do not injure themselves.

  • Disclaimer

    • The use of Furfields Dog Park is at the user’s risk without exception.
    • Any accidents, damage, theft or loss to any animals, individuals or property are at the user’s risk and will not be the responsibility of Furfields Dog Park.
    • Users of Furfields Dog Park are responsible for any injury or damage caused by their dogs and are always accountable for the behaviour of their dogs.
    • You are responsible for both your own and your dog’s safety whilst at Furfields Dog Park. Furfields Dog Park accept no responsibility for harm or injury caused to you or your dogs.
    • Owners leave vehicles parked in the car park at their own risk.
    • Furfields Dog Park is secured by 6Ft fencing. However we cannot guarantee that your dog won't escape.

  • Vaccinations

    • Please ensure that your dogs are up to date with their vaccinations, flea, and wormer treatments before attending the park.
    • If you are concerned about your dog’s health in any way, please cancel your session.
    • We aim to make the park a safe place for every dog.

  • Data Protection

    • Your data may be stored so that we can manage your booking.
    • We will not share your data with any third parties unless they are our operational business partners.
